The 24th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Powell Gardens will be on October 15 and 16th. Meet Simba, Aladdin and Tianna. Plus, the Powell Rangers stumble upon a stinky surprise. All will be illuminated in the light of hundreds of eerily carved jack-o-lanterns and luminaries along the lighted path. “Forgotten” and fractured fairytales come to life. Wear your costume and comfortable walking shoes, bring a trick-or-treat bag, and get ready for a spooktacular time!

Refreshments will be served following the tour. Come early and enjoy spooky grub in Cafe Thyme and take a walk through our spooky Glow Lab. All this and more at Powell Gardens 24th Annual Halloween Spooktacular.

Please note: Space is limited and pre-registration is required for all participants including adults. Call early to purchase your tickets and schedule your tour time. Looking for something to do this Saturday? Come to Breakfast with the Easter Bunny followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at Powell Gardens in Kingsville, MO. Meet and greet the Easter Bunny during a hot breakfast buffet at Powell Gardens’ Café Thyme. Afterward at 11 a.m. sharp, children 10 and under can take part in an Easter egg hunt. (A combination ticket that includes Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Garden admission and the Easter egg hunt is available–call for pricing.) Reservations are essential: Call 816-697-2600 x209

Easter Egg Hunt

Children 10 and under will meet on the rolling green lawns of Powell Gardens for a traditional Easter Egg hunt, complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny. After the hunt, visitors can stay to enjoy the Gardens in their early spring glory. The price is $5 for children, which includes the hunt and Garden admission. Adults pay regular admission of $9.50 or $8.50/seniors or free/members. A combination ticket that includes Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Garden admission and the Easter egg hunt is available.

Holiday Luminary Walk at Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is today, November 28th, from 5pm to 8:30pm. Picture this… A mile of candlelit trails… Holiday Music Galore… Lighted Displays… Refreshments… Santa Claus. There are over 10,000 candles in a mile of candlelit trails.
