The Overland Park Fall Festival is on Saturday September 24th this year. Kids anxiously sitting on the street curbs and parents waiting for the next act can only mean one thing – the Downtown Overland Park Fall Festival.
The OP Fall fest features:
- Johnson County’s best Arts and Crafts Fair, featuring 200-plus vendors;
- Three stages of free concerts;
- Free children’s entertainment and kid-friendly activities, including moonwalks, an inflatable obstacle course, and other funs options;
- Food booths, offering everything from lemonade and hot dogs to hamburgers, ice cream and more; and a
- Free motorcycle and classic car show.
When is OP Fall Festival?

6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Farmers’ Market
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Craft Fair
10 a.m. – Parade
(The parade starts one block west of Metcalf at 79th and Floyd. It will go west on 79th Street to Santa Fe, then Santa Fe to Robinson, ending near Overland Park Elementary School on Robinson.)

The annual Ethnic Food and Pastry Sale hosted by Holy Trinity Church at the corner of 119th and Pflumm in Overland Park KS will be on October 22nd and October 23rd. Come to the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church on Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dine in, carry out, and come see the angels! Dive into a mouthwatering plate of your favorite Russian, Greek or Lebanese foods. For lunch and dinner you can choose one of these scrumptious meals:
- Russian plate: cabbage roll, vegetable beef soup and babka bread
- Greek vegetarian plate: spinach and filo pie, Greek green beans and pita bread
- Lebanese plate: kibby, Lebanese salad, and pita bread
Then step into their Pastry Shop and select delightful, handmade pastries from countries around the globe, such as Slavic Nut Rolls, Russian Tea Cookies and Greek and Syrian Baklava. This year’s sale is also marked by the arrival of four beautiful, new icons of Archangels and four icons of Seraphs which will be installed in the church’s dome just days before the ethnic food sale.

At this Higher Brain Living Socializing and Stress Management meeting, you will learn learn to reduce stress and be more dynamic, happy, and confident. After the session, you can socialize and network with a group of Kansas City business owners. The event ends at 8:00pm, but you can stay and socialize for hours afterwards, if you like. This event is great if you would like to engage your higher brain and reduce stress. Wine, beer, and light snacks will be provided.
