Franklin County Fair and Rodeo
The Franklin County Fair and Rodeo in Ottawa, KS, starts today. Come for the URA rodeo, exhibits, demolition derby, 4-H displays, carnival and livestock auction. One of the oldest fairs in Kansas, 2010 will mark the 145th annual.
Livestock and 4-H judging begins Wednesday;
Thursday night is the annual community BBQ and youth rodeo;
Friday night is the annual Rodeo;
Saturday night is the annual livestock sale and demolition derby.
Each day event-goers can view exhibits, enjoy the carnival and rides in the Midway, and sample the hearty fair food.

The annual Johnson County Fair is back. There are many fun events including free events such as:

Platte County Fair
The 146th Annual Platte County Fair is here. The fair has been an annual event in Plattte County community since the first fair in 1863. It is recorded as being the oldest continuously operating fair west of the Mississippi River. The fair draws participants and spectators from a 100-mile radius, and in some cases even further.
Tickets to the Platte County Fair
Adults $8.00 each, per day. As always Children 12 & under Free and Free Parking!
