Today was the grand opening day of Savers Thrift Store in Olathe, Kansas. Many people all over Olathe and nearby areas were there, shopping, looking around, drinking free coffee, eating free popcorn, etc. It was festive in the store. The Grand Opening event is supposed to go on until Saturday July 25. You can also enter to win $100 shopping spree. Fill out the form inside the store. There are tons of items nicely laid out for shoppers.  You will find:

Silver Lining Thrift Store is offering a Private Shopping Day. This is a day, usually a Sunday, in which a group can come in together after hours and shop and try on clothes at their leisure. People usually have more fun when shopping with only your friends, family or good people that you know. At the Private Shopping Day they will provide light refreshments and store specials.

What are at the Silver Lining Thrift Shop?

Silver Lining Thrift Shop offers a clean and pleasant shopping experience. They are a fairly new thrift shop in Overland Park KS having been in operation for approximately four months.

They would prefer groups of 40 to 50 or more.

Just grab a bag, then stuff, pack, jam, cram, and fill it as full as  you can with all of the resale clothing on clearance. You can bag the best deals of the year here. Everything in your bag for just $5 for it all. Before you come to this event, you might want to practice packing and come early for the Fill a Bag for Five Event.

The first Savers in the state of Kansas is opening in Overland Park on June 25th, 2009. If you like shopping at Thrift stores, Savers is likely to have a lot of what you need. You can also shop at Goodwill, of course, along with other nonprofit, charitable thrift stores. Savers in Kansas is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City. You can donate any items there for sale at the new Savers thrift stores.

Soon after the opening of the brand new Savers Thrist store in Overland Park KS, another Savers is opening in Olathe KS. On July 23rd, 2009, Savers is opening its second store in the state of Kansas. This one is supposed to be even bigger than the one in Overland Park.
