Works in Progress Art Show and Silent Auction

Works in Progress art show and silent auction hosted by the Kansas City Rescue Mission is tomorrow. More than a dozen regional and local artists present their work for sale, auction and raffle as part of the First Friday art walk. All proceeds go to the Kansas City Rescue Mission. This event is free to attend. Art for sale ranges from $8 to more than $1,000.

Weston 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show

Today is the 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show in Weston, Missouri. The show started yesterday evening but is going on all day today. This is a free event and it is a must for antique lovers! The 2nd weekend of August will bring the MidWest’s newest concept in Antique shows, the Weston 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show. Weston, Missouri is a small, charming community nestled among the high bluffs of the Missouri River.

What is the Weston 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show?

The 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show spans a 10 mile area in and around Historic Weston, Missouri. Enjoy the scenic drive to each of the four locations along the 10 Mile Trail, each of them hosting Antique dealers, food and beverages. The Weston 10 Mile Trail Antique & Garden Show features over 10 miles of exceptionally high quality:

  • antique,
  • art,
  • collectible and
  • garden vendors at four premier shopping locations in and around Weston.

The four locations are:

Red Barn Farm
Red Barn Farm educational farm is like a visit to Grandmother’s farm in the 1900’s. Antique and garden vendors will be located inside the new barn. Friday and Saturday enjoy home cooked food from Weston Red Barn Farm.

Locust Grove Antiques & Interiors
Locust Grove is an eclectic mix of antiques from Europe, Asia, and America.  Vendors will be set up outside under the canopy of hundred year old trees. Friday afternoon and evening the Vineyards Restaurant of Weston, Mo will be on hand to serve you deliciously prepared food paired with great wines.

Beverlin’s Statuary
At the bottom of Main Street, where the Missouri River once flowed, antique and garden vendors will be located on the old dock at the port of Weston, now the home of Beverlin’s Statuary. Weston Café will be serving up their famous BBQ on the outdoor patio accompanied by Weston Brewing Company’s latest brew.

Riverwood Winery
Riverwood Winery is located just a short scenic drive away along the old Missouri River.  There you can sample locally made wines and check out the antique and art vendors. Friday afternoon and evening, as well as Saturday, enjoy fresh cooked food from the kitchen of Riverwood Winery accompanied by their locally grown grapes and wines.

Art Show at Lakewood Oaks

The Art Show at Lakewood Oaks is on Sunday July 12th from 12pm to 5pm. It is at the Lakewood Oaks Golf Club which is located at 651 NE St. Andrews Circle, Lee’s Summit, MO. Admission is free.
