Mildale Farm Fall Fest

Mildale Farm Fall Fest is this Saturday, October 31st. Bring the family and spend an great afternoon exploring JCPRD’s Mildale Farm property and enjoying a number of fall activities during this FREE public event. Visitors can explore and picnic on the 158-acre site including the 22-acre rental property as well as about 136 acres of adjacent agricultural property. All will find and can enjoy cider and hot cocoa and a large pumpkin patch. A tractor-drawn shuttle will take visitors to a fire circle in the south-central portion of the Mildale site, where they can roast marshmallows and enjoy storytelling. There will also be guided nature walks and horse-drawn hayrides.

Freaky Fall Fest

Save the date for the 9th Annual Freaky Fall Fest hosted by the City of Leawood Parks and Recreation Department. The City of Leawood Parks and Recreation Department will present the 9th Annual “Freaky Fall Fest”, to be held at Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Blvd.) on Friday, October 23 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Activities will include inflatables and rides, pumpkin painting, a creepy cake walk, the great pumpkin hunt, face painters, clown/balloon artists and more. There will also be dancing and costume contests (children 10 and under), Haunted Hayrides ($2.00 per ride, come early to get your ticket) and the 6th Annual “Trunk-or-Treat”. Participants can enjoy food, music and more at this “spooktacular” event! Don’t miss the fun! “Trunk-or-Treat”, Inflatables, Rides, Pumpkin Painting, and more!

Blue Valley Recreation Family Fall Festival

Blue Valley Recreation Family Fall Festival is next Saturday October 17th. It will be a fun festival for the whole family! This 17th annual Family Fall Festival at the Blue Valley Recreation Complex in Overland Park KS is packed full of fun and laughter. Costumes are encouraged. First 500 kids registered receive a pumpkin and treat bucket! Shawnee Indian Mission Fall Festival

Shawnee Indian Mission State Historic Site is hosting the 23rd Annual Fall Festival this weekend. This is a celebration of American Indian traditions.Admission is free. A celebration of American Indian traditions
Featuring family friendly fun, crafts, entertainment, hands-on activities, and food. You’ll see living history reenactors, mountain men, American Indian dancers, spinners, weavers, storytellers, musicians,

Weston Applefest

The 21st Annual Weston Applefest Celebration on the Main Street is this weekend, October 3rd and October 4th. Weston Chamber of Commerce Applefest is a popular annual event known throughout the Midwest as one of the best fall festivals in Missouri. Weston’s shopping district was designated as a historic site in 1972. That old town charm with diverse and unique shops, many of which are located in buildings that were built prior to the civil war, just adds to the ambiance of this fun filled event. All the shops are decked out for fall. There is a parade on Saturday and buses will not run from 9-11 on Saturday during the parade. Come early, park and walk to the downtown parade.
