The 2010 Lawrence Spring Arts & Crafts Fest is this Saturday March 6th. The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department hosts four arts and crafts fairs per year for exhibitors to showcase and sell their work. The festivals include:
- Spring Arts and Crafts Festival – March
- Fall Arts and Crafts Festival – September
- Holiday Bazaar – November
- Holiday Extravaganza – December

Hidden Glen Arts Festival

Hidden Glen Arts Festival is this weekend on September 19 and 20, 2009, with 21 years of supporting the arts and providing student scholarships in Johnson County, KS. The Hidden Glen Arts Festival is held outdoors in a tranquil, picturesque lakeside park at beautiful Cedar Creek in Olathe, Kansas, at K-10 Highway and Cedar Creek Parkway, just 20 miles southwest of Kansas City, Missouri in suburban Johnson County, Kansas. Admission is free and open to the public.
The Festival awards student high school scholarships, hosts the local Plein Air Event, and the Olathe Visual Artists tent, live “Artists in Action” tent, and a Children’s Art tent. They also host an active Purchase Patrons program. There will be live music, entertainment, and a variety of concessions add to the mix of this Arts Festival weekend. The Festival is funded in part by a grant from the Kansas Arts Commission, and has several community and corporate sponsors. The Festival is run by the Board of the Hidden Glen Arts Festival, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
