List of Events on Halloween
In our previous post, we listed lots of different places for children to go trick or treating and things to do during the day time on Halloween. There are many fun events including haunted houses, Halloween parades and costume contests for children and pets during the day. At night, scarier Halloween starts with many Halloween parties. Adults can also dress up as their favorite characters, enter costume contests and win big prizes. Below is a list of some great Halloween parties in the Kansas City Metro area. What to do on All Hallows Eve?
Halloween is this Saturday but there are also fun events the night before Halloween which is today! There are ghost tours as well as other events around town to prepare you for Halloween. Most Halloween events and trick or treating events are on Saturday but here are some great events happening on this evening in the Kansas City Metro area.

Halloween Family ConcertFest
Halloween Family ConcertFest is on October 30th. The Overland Park Orchestra, in costume, and Legacy School of Dance will perform for costumed ghouls and ghosts during this free concert at 7 p.m. Cookie and punch reception will begin at 6 p.m. This event will be in Yardley Hall at Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd. All children who come in costume are invited to march across the stage in our parade. Free bag of treats for kids.
