Fort Osage National Historic Landmark is having a celebration on Independence Day. There will be lots of fun and entertainment as well as educational event there. Ft Osage is located in Sibley, Missouri, not far from Independence Missouri.
Have you heard of Missouri Town 1855? It is located in the large Fleming Park in Lee’s Summit Missouri, not far from Kansas City. They are having an Independence Day celebration from 9 to 4:30. There will be food, music, and lots of things to see and learn. It is fun but it does cost $5 to get in. There is also a parade at noon.
The annual 4th of July celebration is back in the City of Leawood, KS. They have fireworks at the Leawood City Park where there are lots of fun and entertainments all lined up. The Aquatic Center will be open and there will be lots of kids activities and food vendors. You are sure to have fun and enjoy the fireworks display here.
