Mayor’s Christmas Tree Walk

The 4th Annual Mayor’s Christmas Tree Walk in Kearney MO is this Saturday November 21st. Time to dust off the Christmas lights and decorations, and decorate a tree in Jesse James Park! Come see the Christmas trees and lights around the lake. There will be free hot chocolate and cookies, Christmas carols and a visit from Santa. This is a free event. This event is open to anyone who wants to decorate a tree.

Jesse James Festival

The 39th Annual festival 2009 is scheduled for September 11-13, 15, 17, and 18-20, 2009 in Kearney, Missouri. The Year 2009 marks the 39th year of the Annual Jesse James Festival, held in Kearney, Missouri. This special event held each year, during the 3rd weekend of September, will include activities to celebrate the occasion. This quiet little Missouri town, which was previously named Centreville, is the birthplace and boyhood home of Jesse James, as well as his final resting place.
