Women’s Living History Weekend
Women’s Living History Weekend is on March 13th and March 14th. In honor of Women’s History Month, the role of women during the Fort’s occupation is interpreted highlighting traditional activities such as cooking, sewing and gardening. Don’t miss this unique glimpse of women’s life in the early 1800s on the American frontier. Sibley is on the Missouri River, 14 miles northeast of Independence.
