Art Unleashed is a Silent & Live Auction of limited edition pet themed artwork.  They plan to have over 400 pieces available for auction.  All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, KC’s OLDEST no-kill shelter (since 1912). The 13th Annual Art Unleashed is this Friday, August 27th. This event benefits the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. Art and animals unite once again at the 13th Annual Art Unleashed. Bid on more than 400 pieces of original pet-themed artwork during the silent and live auction. Join Brett Anthony, from NBC Action News, and The Nigro Brothers as they host this fun and furry event for the shelter pets. There are both silent and live auctions. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres with a cash bar are available throughout the evening. They have custom designed Art Unleashed t-shirts at the event. All shirts (fitted or standard fit) are $15. Purchase them at the registration table.

A Family to Call My Own Art Auction & Fundraiser hosted by Downey Side, a national non-profit organization devoted exclusively to the recruitment of families for children waiting in foster care for a forever family, is this Thursday from 6pm to 9pm. There will be cocktails, Hors d’Oeuvres, Entertainment, and Live & Silent Auction. This event is the 3rd Annual Downey Side Art Auction and Fundraiser with special guest, Alison Larkin, Comedienne, Actress, and Best-Selling Author of The English Americana. The event also features Kansas City artists and merchants! Proceeds stay local and benefit Kansas City area children.

Local custom steel furniture retailer and fine-art nature photographer to hold silent auction to benefit Harvesters on the first Friday of November in the Crossroads Art District, on November 6th. This exceptional exhibition and benefit (a portion of the proceeds will benefit Harvesters) combining the locally made modern steel furniture of PK Steel, along with the contemporary nature photography of Darrin D.
