If you like gardens, you will love this Briarcliff Gardens Tour. This Briarcliff Gardens Tour is truly “a unique experience” for garden lovers.  During the tour, you will visit 12 wonderful gardens, all located in the Briarcliff area, just north of the Missouri River and the Downtown Airport in Kansas City, Missouri. Because of their proximity, it is easy for a visitor to see all the featured gardens within a few hours.  Many garden tours require traveling to different parts of town which can mean less time enjoying the gardens.

One of the amazing gardens include:

• a Kessler Society Award Winner for Most Improved Beautiful Garden of 2007,
• a Kessler Award Winner for Most Improved Beautiful Garden North of the River 2008,
• a Master Gardener’s garden,
• a fairy garden and
• an outstanding rose garden located in Briarcliff West to give you a taste of what is in store.

There will be Argentine Tango dancers, mariachi players and vendors to round out the experience.  For experienced gardeners and those who just “appreciate” the outdoors, this is the garden tour you don’t want to miss.

Tickets are $15.  Tickets can be purchased at L&L Home Goods and Gifts in advance or at 9 of the 12 houses the day or the tour.  Tickets can be purchased with Cash or Check.  Checks can be made out to “Briarcliff Community Alliance”.
